Sushi Place

my friends and I have been going to Gonoe for years, and it shows! We know the menus by heart, two of my friends have rolls named specifically after them, and the waiters know us by name - just goes to show what kind of a place Gonoe is: friendly, lively, but above all else it really is the best place for inexpensive, fresh, delicious sushi (and yakitori). Be sure to try the shitake mushroom roll - best in the city!

I love the salmon teriyaki for 8.95!!!!

The food and drinks are great quality

They have super origininal ingredients like mango, jalapeno, banana and coconut. Great saketinis as well!

The atmosphere is like being in a Japanese cavern..lovely atmosphere, great service and fresh, plentiful sushi every time in a fabulous part of town! Sitting in the window feels like being a goldfish and enjoying the view of the world in a protective bowl.

This place is cheap and great. The sushi is fresh and the dol sot bibim bop is amazing if you're hungry. I get Dynamite instead of California roll with my Yonge Street sushi.

It can survive a fire and still come out on top. It has great service and a prime location. And of course, lets not forget the best Spicy Tuna in the city hands down. Tip: Reservations are always a good idea.
