By far the nicest restaurant that I've eaten at. Mark McEwan is well-known for the interior design in his restaurants and North 44 is a great example of it. You can even see through a glass window into the kitchen. Also, the CREME BRULEE is magnificent.

Cultured stone walls, embossed tin roof, picturesque patio, cool black and white photographs, and a cozy bar - I would live here if I could. A lovely summertime feature - the front widows open completely to give an al fresco dining feel to the front-most tables. Waitstaff is attentive and consumately professional while totally friendly.

If I were to decorate a place myself, I imagine it would look much like this. I love the art nouveau decor and the beautiful antique mirrors.
