It's like being someplace far away from the city, but with the entire city skyline in your view.

where else in the city can you coast past castles and totems, peacocks and cherry groves, japanese gardens and sprawling lawns - all within pedal power of the scenic lakeshore or a number of great post-cycle lunch spots on Bloor or Roncesvalles.

you can cycle all the way from the lakeshore up to Sunnybrook Park, or take a side trip east through peaceful Taylor Creek Park. The trail is wide, there are a few good hills, and the trees are thick enough that most of the time you can't even tell that the traffic on the Don Valley Parkway is metres away.

It's huge and centrally located. Can get busy with tourists, but it's got all the store's I need and is less stressful and closer than Yorkdale.
