The chicken is hot and cooked to perfection. The toppings are fresh. And the hummous is no extra charge.
For a year and a half, I refused to eat here out of fear that my experience might ruin the temptation I get everytime I walk by them (best smell in the city, possibly world). Finally, I decided to give it a shot, and my life was changed on the eve of May 12, 2008. This spot has now become a staple in my late-night routine (along with everyone else in Toronto, apparently).
The freshest tastiest veggies to top it all off YUM!!!
Love the chicken shawarma and falafels. In and out in 5 minutes during the lunch hour which is great.
Great chicken, rather than the regular spinning cooker, they grill the chicken, nice change
These guys have the best chicken shawarma I've ever had, it's really dry, for some reason that makes it taste fantastic.
Oddly enough I'm not a huge fan of their falafel
You go for the food, not the ambiance ... but the bust of Ghandi says it all
My biggest concern when deciding on a shawarma is this: how well is it wrapped? The last thing I want is humus and garlic paste on my clothes. Quick pita's shawarmas score well in this aspect. And the chicken is both soft and crispy.
fresh and delicious ... my mouth is watering thinking about it!
