Union Station

Union captures the hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto in an elegant fashion...the building itself is gorgeous and welcoming. The space is also great for public art events, such as Nuit Blanche's Horridor, an ode to horror movies, taking place in the building's west entrance on Oct. 4!

a weekend out of the city - cycling beautiful riverside trails in a historic setting - is amazing and inspirational... We took in a show in Niagara-on-the-lake and checked out the touristy Clifton Hill at Niagara Falls. Highly recommended: hiking in Niagara Glen. Time slows when the city's commercial monoliths recede from the window of a speeding GO train.
