The Red Tea Box

One part restaurant, one part bakery, and one part gift shop, The Red Tea Box is a tranquil little place to spend an afternoon. The open courtyard in the back is a relaxing spot to enjoy a pot of tea and a cupcake or an asain inspired dish, and the cozy tea shop upstairs lets you take a little of the ambiance home with you. The cake shop at the front of the store carries tasty confections that are too beautiful to eat, so if you're in the mood for something sweet bring your camera.

It has such a nice atmosphere. It's quaint and comfortable. Tea is lovely, the cakes are beautiful, and all of the food is delicious. I could spend the afternoon there.

it's cozy and hip, yet traditional

Amazing selections, and really helpful staff. Also, if you, or those who are accompanying you, aren't in the mood, they have an extensive menu full of tea-free options. It's like grandma's, except you have to pay for everything... so it's more like a tea store... but man...

the cake's are beautiful!

it is the most adorable place ever. You feel like you are a million miles away from Toronto when you step inside the gorgeous back tea house. The tea choices are amazing and you have high tea bento boxes with a delicious blend of finely crafted savoury and sweet morsels of food. A must for those who really love attention detail and deliciousness!

they have a pear tree in their backyard and a coach house with stuffed armchairs.
