This place has old-world charm to spare, and a lavish spread of hot and cold dishes to please most any palate (meat, fish and vegetable dishes, fruits, cheeses and desserts, piled theatrically on linened tables). The stone walls, high beamed ceilings, 19th century art and crest collection, and attentive, uniformed pentagenarian waitstaff make you feel like you've left Toronto entirely and ended up at some European hunting lodge, on the scenic banks of a river other than the Humber.
