Messini Authentic Gyros

it is the only souvlaki that is decent in Toronto after you've had the real thing in Greece. Their Greek fries are amazing, and for two people to eat you get: One greek salad (sharing size), one greek fries (sharing size) and a souvlaki pita each for $12.00 plus drinks. It's an absolute steal, and their portions are not overbearing but not small at all!

Their Greek salad and Greek fries are ULTRA delicious!!! Healthy food, great taste and well priced.

They take the word "authentic" seriously. My brother spent 4 weeks in Greece last fall and turned me on to this place. He drives all the way in from Hamilton several times a month just for the food here. He said that the gyros here is *exactly* the same as what he ate in Greece, right to the fries stuck int he sandwich. A word of warning. Put a napkin on your lap or eat over your plate when having the gyros. The juice that flows from these monsters will bork a pair of jeans pronto.
