They use organic milk - the beans are freshly ground/per cup - they add great images to their lattes!

Organic, fair trade coffee that simply tastes the best in the city. Great staff and fun expresso lovers in this awesome up-and-coming neighbourhood. Worth the trip to Leslieville.

It's very good. Grab a twisted puff pastry glazed with orange zest at Bonjour Brioche down the street, and then have an espresso at Mercury for an awesome breakfast. While Bonjour Brioche doesn't have the best pastry in the city, its proximity to Mercury is why I have included it here. If you can, grab a croissant at Celestin (NE corner Mt. Pleasant & Manor Road) and then head to Mercury. But even I am not that food-obsessed to do that... well maybe only once a month.

If you have ever been there on a nice summer afternoon in the summer, then you already know why mercury coffee is great. Not to forget, all the staff are really nice. Alex is working hard on perfecting his decorative latte. runner ups would be Jet Fuel and Marrs (i like crappy diner/coffee shops. Marrs, that is.)

It has the best double Americano in the city. It's a perfect place to stop in on the way into work or while shopping along Queen East.

they are serious about offering high quality coffee. Chain coffee shops serve warm puddle water by comparison
