La Paloma Authentic Gelateria & Cafe

La Paloma has the best gelato I've tasted since I got back from Italy. They have a great selection of original flavors (and there's even a few soy selections). My favourite is the Chocolate Hazelnut.... mmm.

Their Gelato reminds me of Florence!

2 Words: Italian gelato. I had never had gelato before I tried it a La Paloma, and since then I haven't found a better place.

This Mecca for gelato is popular enough to have several choices.

Each time I have a shut out in soccer I get a dish of limoncella and it got me through my first pregnancy!

It is so true to the taste of pistacchio (there are real chunks in it too!) just like all of the others. They are all my faves!

The desserts are unique, delicious, and is a special summer treat!

it's the closest you'll get to authentic Italian gelato.. reminds me of the yummy gelato in Trastavere...

I know there there are several ice cream shops which I haven't tried yet so I cannot say about them. I have been to LaPaloma a handful of time and their ice cream is great [love the hazelnut and tiramisu]. However due to it's location and price, I might have to find something closer downtown.
