I was skeptical that anything could compare to California's sandwiches, but was pleasantly surprised at this great family bakery. Their veal sandwiches have all the flavour, the only thing lacking is the crispiness of a freshly fried veal cutlet. In addition to sandwiches, they make fresh lasagnas, pizzas, sausage & peppers and tonnes of bakery items daily. Great lunch spot, or to take-out, they're hidden the corner of a strip plaza, so keep your eyes peeled.
This is the REAL thing, it's like your grandma cooking for you.
The wait was kind of long, but wow was it ever worth it, they don't even start breading your meat until you place your order.
Great sandwich, be sure to get some spicy olives to go with it.
so big, so spicy, so delicious. best place in Toronto by far!
it's very yummy and tastes great
Tastiest veal sandwich by far. They give you gigantic pieces of veal, the sauce is delicious, and they make each and every sandwich fresh upon ordering. May take a while if you go at lunch, but it's worth it!
Oh my. So big, and smothered in thick tomato sauce with lots of peppers and onions. Bring a friend -- the sandwiches are easily big enough for two. Eggplant sandwiches, and focaccia sandwiches are great (and huge), too.
Best Veal Sandwiches if you are in Vaughn
If your looking for the best veal sandwiches in the city of Toronto this is the place for it.
The veal is very flavourful and the toppings are very fresh. I have tried alot of Veal sandwiches but none even compare
you can get whatever you want on it. it is huge and filling and AMAZING! you wont have to eat again for a day.
They taste great; they're big enough to eat half and take the other half home for later, and run by a real friendly mother and son team.
Bakery with *great* sweets, deli and a great 'dine-in' area. Packed on weekends or when euro league football is on tv! Oh ya - their veal sandwiches aren't bad either!
love the taste! its real veal, not processed!
the italian place in the basement has the greatest veal sandwiches in the city
they are the best I've ever tasted. Note: the Claremont St. location is the best one.
it is smothered in tomato sauce
