Homey and comfortable, this British style pub is a local fave. Great for casual meals or a beer with friends.

Especially in the summer there is a lovely patio. The place is unpretentious and the pub grub is delicious. Decent brunch too!

A great local pub/bar where you can catch the game (Leafs, Raptors) or other sporting event (MMA or boxing fights). Great because it has more menu selections than your usual pub/bar and the prices are really cheap, especially their specials (eg. Sun. and Mon. nite wings special with a drink, 49 cents each, min. of 10) - and their wings are really tasty! There's a special each day of the week, and the place has a great casual atmosphere.

Who doesn't love a pub? I mean really. This place has every beer you could think up plus the bands that play guarantee some foot stompin' good times.

Great place for a relaxed night in the summer. Remember half-priced appetizers during happy hour (which really should be every hour; at least in my case).

The daily specials are always a bargain and certainly not what you would expect from a pub(lamb shank with garlic mash and seasonal veg that are actually seasonal and not frozen, for example). The staff is friendly, the bread pudding is delicious (banana chocolate, anyone?) and the wine list is incredibly reasonably price. Great place for a Thanksgiving dinner, by the way, for $15!!!

Good service, amazing daily specials (a pound of wings and a pint for $7.95! Burger & pint $8.95!) and trivial pursuit cards on every table. Beer is always cold and fresh.

I could win a jacket if I try all 80 types of beer there. Challenge! Update - I did try all 82 types of beer. But they were out of jackets, so I took a sweater and hat instead.

University Bar but its also a great afterwork crowd on a thurs and friday... Michael Barnes plays there every friday... great musician
