it's the best place to be in the green space, yet to be so close to the city. randomness occurs there all the time from tight-rope walkers, to drumming circles, to tennis games, to regular park-going activities.
Its one of the most Urban Parks in Toronto and is always buzzing with activity. Great for people watching, dog walking, relaxing in the shade, and just plain enjoying city life. Love it!
Big enough that you'll be able to find a piece of grass, even on the busiest of weekends. Right by the subway, too.

I've only recently discovered this place, heard about it for years, but only the other day went by. Glad I did, I can see me visiting here more frequently. Great place for pics, both in the day and night.
I grew up in the neighbourhood. I loved skating in the winter and swimming in the summer. There's also a mini zoo , playground, trolley rides, pond, walking trails and breathtaking view of the sunset . Free parking too! It's also close to Bloor village , Roncevalles ( the village east of high park) and Lakeshore's bike path.

Love the heritage houses!!! Never seen anything like it!!!
The park and the community centre are fantastic for kids, and parents. I have taken my 3 year old there since he was born, and it's a great park for kids to have safe fun in, but also for parents to meet other, interesting parents.
Trinity and Duffering Grove are the best parks in Toronto. They also both have a very strong community of neighbourhood folks, which create a fantastic feeling of a park that the entire community is invested in.

Such a hidden gem in the heart of Scarborough, I live nearby, so have taken the opportunity of walking through there about a million times.
The grounds are like nothing I've ever seen.
For years a group of artists lived in the Inn, while they were there, any time they noticed a beautiful building slated for demolition they would send a truck and rescue part of the building, so as you walk through, you will find massive pillars, beautiful archways, statues, all in the middle of a forrest.
the fitness trail is a hidden gem, Colborne Lodge is a fun historical visit, an outdoor zoo, and a kitschy restaurant in the middle of it all
My puppy loves it and it's right next to my place!
it's an outdoor community centre. community dinners at the outdoor oven, parades, impromptu musical performances, a cob house, and fabulous playground.
amazing kids' play section, fire pits, live music, stone ovens, community
it's huge, beautiful and full of different things to do depending on which day you go. I've had a fun game of bocce there, been toboganning, ran around with a dog or two - there's no limit!
It's right behind my house, it's huge and when you're on the trails you don't even feel like you're in the city.
bicycles, kids, dogs, sports enthusiasts and people who just enjoy lying in the grass all sharing space amicably
Nicest open park to sit and read, chill with friends, stroll through with a date, take the kids to the park at, community centre AND Calfouti and Fresh Restaurant are so close for take out.
Whether you're chilling on a blanket with a spliff, tossing a frisbee or strolling with a cute date, this park can accomodate all of those activities. There are always festivals and events going on too. The best part is there are no big, stinky, loud dogs running around because there's a separate dog park area.
this huge beautiful park so close to downtown, we are lucky to have it. but now we have to destroy those horrid tall condos blotting the skyline to the south.

it's a nice open field right behind the beaches. A perfect place to play a game of soccer, football and baseball with your friends. When you're tired, just walk over to the beaches for a stroll.

it's a beautiful garden located near an escarpment. You can look towards the horizon or just relax amongst the trees.
Nothing better than a park on a nice sunny day
it's in the coolest part of town.
it’s beautiful! I love the water and all the dogs running around.
