First off I love walking to Queen Street, I love East and I really love their T3 Famous Pad Thai with Seafood. Their Green Tea is also a Fave and is always stocked up at my place!!

Two words describe this pad thai: saucy and hearty. The noodles are delicately smothered in a great reddish, sweet and tangy pad thai sauce. Get the traditional with chicken and shrimp...even the tofu oozes with goodness.

Really like the pad thai here, great sauce, not very ketchup-ey at all, plus the portion size is good.

they make a version of it that doesn't have fish sauce in it (while most places claim to have "vegetarian" phad thais and secretly slip the stuff in without even telling you - I mean, they tell you if you ask, but you might not know to ask.) Oh, it's also delicious in its Tastiness Aptitude Rating (TAR). My TAR reader printed out a measure of 8.2, but I forgot to calibrate it first.

It comes in an authentic chinese take out container - decorated with hot pink and lime green. Girly to the max.

Best Pad Thai in the city. It is also the lightest - meaning it it FRESH and not greasy. Also, they don't use ketchup. I love it.

This pretty little restaurant is right off Queens Quay (across from the Radisson). Delicious, carefully made food - I love their chicken curry, cashew nut chicken, and they have the best pad thai in the city! Very friendly service.

The previous poster who wrote "It doesn't taste like ketchup" is very correct. It doesn't, and the pad thai tastes fabulous. You can vary the intensity of spicy by their pepper factor (from 1-20). I highly suggest the 20 if you want to experience serious indigestion for the next week. I speak from experience.

I love the pad thai here...it's quick and cheap. Hotness scale from 1-5, great for quick takeout.

It's the perfect blend of spicy and flavourful, and the $8 portion is big enough to feed two. Even better, it's available with chicken , shrimp, or tofu for the veggies.

it is a family restaurant and they have perfected the art of making pad thai - it has tons of nuts, lime, deep fried tofu and the sauce is aaaaammmazing

Gigantic portions full of so much flavour. I have yet to finish more than half a plate in one sitting. While you're at it, indulge, try one of their fresh fruit juices. Divine.

Whenever I have a craving... my husband goes to pick it up!
