These guys make great food, very authentic too. Only place I've found that has a chili sauce tempered with chocolate (no you can't taste it)

Always friendly service, the freshly smashed guac is a perfect way to start a meal, and the home made banana ice cream sopa pia is the best way to end one.
Anything between those 2 courses will be perfect, just as every meal I've had there.
It's a fun looking mexican restuarant, colourful decor/setting, with a cartoonish mexican wrestler on the wall.
The food is fun b/c lots of modernized interpretations of mexican dishes by young chefs from mexico I believe and there is a good selection of fun mexican drinks/cocktails.

their guacamole and fresh margueritas are the best! It is set up to look like an autenthic mexican restaurant so it completes the whole experience. Their food is amazing, the prices very reasonable, their portions generous, and the wait staff are all very friendly.

Absolutely loved it.
I've never had a bad meal there, whether it's the chipotle, bean, chicken or veg enchildas, carne asada, pollo poblano or my personal fave pollo borracho (drunken chicken). I always go there when I'm in the mood for quality Mexican food. The atmosphere is pretty cool too - beautiful paintings and random artifacts give it a nice pueblo vibe.
laid back atmosphere with good music and awesome mexican food. They have the most insane hot sauce ever, which I can't eat, it's so hot. In the summer, they have homemade lemonade which goes perfectly with mexican food. Nice little back patio, too.

I dream about their grilled cactus burrito, salty beer and steamed corn desert in a corn husk (I can't remember what it was called but it was REALLY good.)

everything is made from scratch, delicious, and served with real hospitality. I've been entertained by the owner's stories many times, and delighted by his generous comps. One of the best lunch deals around! Cheap and mucho yummy.
Service is slow but it's the only *authentic* Mexican in Toronto!
