I didn't even know this new fish and chips place was here until I stumbled upon it in Kensington Market, and it was literally the best fish and chips I've had. Ever. The halibut was not greasy at all, didn't leave me feeling bloated, and the fries are Belgian style, with incredible spices.

I love the light crispy batter - halibut is my favourite fish. I like that all their stuff is crispy but not to greasy too!

Great halibut, the fries are hand cut and perfect. They were on Restaurant Makeover a while back, the best thing they did there was put malt vinegar spray bottles at each table. Be sure and order a side of coleslaw

Fantastic new twist on fish and chips, your choice of batter. I had the jerk batter, it was really good, next time I plan to try the cajun batter. Choice of regular or sweet potato fries as well. Very friendly people running the place too.

I think the taste is from the beer battering, so delicious and light in terms of batter. The chips ain't bad, but I love the extras like mushy peas, homemade coleslaw and aioli. Cute place and cute boxes.

Awesome fries, right by trinity bellwoods park

I've been to the Queen Street West Location between Bathurst and Ossington and it's great. It's not easy to find a good fish and chips place in Toronto and this place is great. It's more of a take out place because there's only 3 or 4 seats. It's pricey for a fish and chips stand, but they give you lots of fish and fries.

This is the best because its fast, delicious and full of crazy tea pots. we get the same 65 year old waitress every time we go and she is right to the point and the food is hot, crispy and delicious.

I especially love the atmosphere at Lion on the Beach. It's homey and welcoming. And, the fish and chips are scrumptious!

Greasy is the goal with fish and chips, but it's a delicate balance. With most places, the grease overwhelms, here the fish and frites are crisp, salty and fresh! Yumlicious.

the Bombay Fish and Chips are excellent and unexpected. I think it's only offered on the take out menu but it's an interesting twist on a favourite. The fish is spiced before being lightly battered and served with sweet potato fries. Best part: not too greasy.
