At first peek the bakery looks like... a chinese bakery. But behind the bahn mi counter and display cases of sweet and savoury buns lies several tables and the waiting dim sum menu. The har gow have the thinnest of skins but beware that they might break. Fried eggplant stuffed with fish paste is crispy and delicious. Gigantic chicken feet and nice tasty bowls of rice with chicken and mushrooms on top. Nice people, no strong smell clinging to you when you leave, it's great!

everything is made fresh with quality ingredients. a bit more expensive that typical china town fare, but well worth it.

Maybe it's just the nostalgia of the hub bub and carts but this place is exactly what dimsum should be. Weekday happy hours are hard to hit but I'll make the effort to get lovely crisp shrimp in thin wrappers for $2 a dish. They serve all my favourite things (tofu wrapped pork and mushroom, octopus tentacles, beef balls, shrimp and veg fried dumplings, and awesome rice pots) with great atmosphere.
