A reliable shop for top-quality meats and fish, Nortown always pairs its delicacies with friendly service and delicious gourmet-goods-to-go, like latkas, coleslaw, and pasta salads. Their meat is always fresh and perfectly pre-marinated. To top it all, they're smart: they always leave some sort of packaged chocolate/pastry dessert right beside the cashier, eyeing you while you wait in line to the point that you must add it to whatever else just smelled/looked yummy on-site.
The people are friendly and most of their stuff is from Ontario farms. A great place for buying meats like turkeys for Thanksgiving!

I recommend their veal chops, marinated for 5 hours in sage and garlic (more rare than medium).

Not sure if i spelled it right, but it's quality of meat is unreal and also all organic. They do in house marniades that rock. The thought of all that red meat makes me droooolllll.....
Awsome kielbasa made fresh in the store with loads of meat and less fat than anywhere else in Toronto. Lots of excellent meat, cheeses and sausage. Nice staff too.
