Place for Cheap Drinks

Shaggy students, nubile waifs and tattooed twentysomethings slug back multiple pitchers of cold draft while shooting pool or chowing down on a plate of cheesy nachos at this well-loved downtown watering hole and eatery. With the kitchen open until the wee hours, Sneaky Dee's (or just, "Sneaky's" to those in the know) is one of the few places in Toronto to satisfy the late-night munchies. Housed in a beautiful old bank building, Paupers is "British pub" done large. A relaxed atmosphere, you can bring a new lover here, but you can also bring your boss or your mom.The pub caters to a slightly upwardly mobile crowd of older students, Annex regulars, visitors from Yonge and Eg, and the after-work crowd. A great neighbourood bar and grill. Tony the owner and his staff are friendly and make it affordable to go out and get a drink with friends on a very regular basis. His food is to die for too! you won't find bar food like this anywhere else! True italian cooking!
