The food is delicious and decadent and the service is friendly and entertaining. It is the perfect combination of classy and cozy with a lively buzz (but not so lively as to inhibit conversation). Make sure you leave room for the homemade Greek coffee and bougatsa or baklava pastry.
Best labaneh and hummus, with world class kebabs (tawouk, shislik, beef, you name it). Atmosphere is nice and middle eastern. Just wish they served Nargilehs (Hookah water pipes) for dessert ; )
their hummus is so creamy, their labni lightly garlicked, their falafel deep and crispy, and their hallum seared to cheesy perfection.
The Mashu Mashu salad is the best ever, perfectly dressed with juicy, little cherry tomatoes. The place does a great job with catering large parties too. The location is kind of small but worth the squeeze because the food is something that you eat and want more of the next day. Everyone in the neighbourhood frequents the place so make a reservation on a Thurs-Sun night.
Nice, swanky restaurant in a quiet neighbourhood. A bit pricey, but worth it all the same. My favourites are the Crsipy Cornmeal Crusted Calamari and the grilled Atlantic Salmon (melts in your mouth). And of course, the Genoa Ricotta is the best pizza I've had in a long time.
