Live Jazz place

When I came here for a triple date, we found ourselves a little cramped for room at the tables but also found that it made the atmosphere even more intimate when the jazz performers started playing. We listened to a singer, a pianist, and a bassist have their jam session and take requests while we ate our Cajun alligator appetizers!

Cool jazz, great cocktails, no cover, and easy going....

Best jazz in Toronto, bottom line. Laid back, eclectic and a comfortable place to have a drink and some good food. I'm a vegetarian and I can always find a good meal at the Rex.

a main staple of Toronto! The staff have been there "forever" and are the best. The music, Ambience, food and beer are the best.

they have great performers and a cool atmosphere. A must-see!
