It's less complicated than Roberts (which looks like an evil lair).

Go online and you can search and reserve resources from any library in Toronto and they will ship it to your local branch for you to pick up. It's a lot of fun to reserve a great book, forget a couple of weeks later, and then have the library call you to tell you it's ready for pick up. This is how I discovered graphic novels (go for Sacco's Gorazde, Tezuka's Buddha, and Miyazaki's Nausicaa). Read now (also you can borrow movies).

Walk past the twin carved griffins guarding the doors and into this magic library, home to the Osborne and Lillian H. Smith Collections of Children's Books. Show your kids the equisite 19th C. pop-up books and lavishly illustrated fairy tales. There is always a special exhibit on display here. Right now it's children's books and art about flying. In June it's pirates and mermaids, followed by dragons in July.
