i can't say it is the best korean food i've ever eaten, but i like the friendly atmosphere and the cute korean wine and beer ads on the tables.
The one at First Markham Place is great location (I haven't been to the other ones). They have real authentic Korean food, and it's REALLY cheap as well. Had the bi bim bap - really delicious. People there are amazingly nice as well!

This tiny restaurant on Queen West has a family-run feel to it. The service is great and they serve all of my favorite Korean dishes including a great Bi Bim Bap. Every meal is ended with a homemade shot of a hot, sweet, cinnamon drink with pine nuts, that the server told me her grandmother used to make.
Bright, cheap, autentic & yummy.
They serve soon tofu (a type of stew), bulgogi (grilled beef) and bibim bap (bowl of rice with additional things.)
The prices are modest. $7 with tax.
If you haven't tried Soon Tofu/Dubu, I urge you to go eat a bowl right now. It's like Korean comfort food. You get to crack an egg into your own bowl of stew (which cooks in the heat.) Afterwards, they fill the stone bowls, used for the rice, with water. This creates a little congee or whatever for you to eat. It's refreshing.
Open 24 hours!! - Hence, the nite owl I think... This is truly the main draw of this place. Just finish clubbing at 3am and feel like Korean food? Live uptown and don't want to stay downtown to eat? No Problem - the Owl is open!! The food tastes ok, place is similiar to what other Korean restaurants charge I think.
the food is fantastic. Although the selection is limited, what they do offer is an awesome soon tofu dish and dol sot bi bim bap (the only korean restaurant my mom approves of, and yes, i am korean).
It's so cheap but it's sooooo good!
It's small, cozy and seems family run. Eating in the private booths with traditional low tables is a nice touch too.
