It's a great place for ramen. There's different types of Japanese ramen that they offer, ranging from the normal "Ajisen Ramen" to spicy Kimchi types. Great place for a cheap eat - about $5-$10 for one bowl.

If you like instant noodles, you have to try this place. The real deal and what you got to eat before Nissin Foods invented the packaged stuff in the 50's (said with all due respect to Momofuku Ando). Huge assortment of noodles and the spicy dishes will take your head off ... and don't forget to ask for extra spicy. I took my (Japanese born) Dad there and when I asked him how it was, he only answered by slurping more noodles.

their food is prepared in a "just so" manner and all is very tasty. They do what they are good at and don't try to do more.

Reminds me of Osaka ramen.

it's the authentic deal yo. I lived in Japan for 3 years, this place impresses with authenticity and selection. Amazing white broth. And really reasonably priced.

They have the most authentic ramen I've tasted since Tokyo...and a few creative kinds of their own!

Kenzo's on Yonge between Finch and Steeles (Or the newer one on Hwy 7/Kennedy) is an excellent place.

I joined this site just to tell y'all that I went to Izakaya the other day on YOUR advice and was sooo disappointed. I don't want anyone to make the same mistake. It simply had to be the worst noodle place I ever been to. Trust me, I've been to many. The interior was beautiful but the food...I don't know where to begin. I just don't want anyone to waste their time or money like I did. I'm still searching for a half decent place and as soon as I find one, I'll tell everyone.

Sorry, have to disagree. Try J-Grill, located at SE corner of Major Mac & Bayview. Think they are more authentic.
