Silver Snail is legendary. It has everything you could ever possibly want from every single denomination of comicdom (anime, manga, American comics, artsy vinyl figures...)

It contains the largest collection of Silver and Bronze age comics in the city.

They have a huge selection of comics and manga available as well as action figures, statuettes, and collectable cards. They also have DVDs to rent or buy. It doesn't get any better than that. They're service is quite friendly. Close to TTC (Route 60 - Steeles W)

This was my first comic shop, where I nervously developed my snooty taste for obscure graphic novels. While technically Birkemoe and Butcher do sell Marvel and DC titles, Spidey and the Hulk are tucked away on the 2nd floor, next to the nasty hentai. They specialize in Seth, Chris Ware, Joe Sacco, Daniel Clowes, Julie Doucet... not so much caped crusaders. Proud creators of the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, they are popular with local comic creators and sell original art. A great place to shop.

Love walking through this place, so much to see, and a better toy selection than Toy's R Us

The new location is big and bright and the selection is great.

Amazing store. Always have the issue I need, the staff knows their stuff, they also cary Master Replicas and great posters!

Great selection, good prices, nice open layout that doesn't make you feel claustrophobic as you shop.

Sometimes the well-known one is still the best. Toronto has a lot of comic stores but I still enjoy this one the most, for simple selection and for their extensive collection of toys. The first stop every Free Comic Book Day. I still remember their Lord of the Rings mockup using Muppets figurines.. classic!

Daryl (the owner) is super helpful and the selection is incredible!

it's a cozy little shop stuffed to the rafters with comics and books about comics & art. Carries all the essential alternative comics in addition to the superhero stuff. Great for browsing and finding new comic books.
