After years of across border shopping we have it! And it's amazing, great styles for good prices.
I can go in and buy a whole outfit - complete with accessories - for the same price as a pair of pants in some of my other favorite stores.

the Joe Fresh line (created by Joseph Mimran, of Club Monaco) is unsurpassed quality and style for the price. And, while you're there, President's Choice makes some pretty awesome food.
It's a tough tie breaker between Forever 21 and H&M, but the Swedish retailer delivers a high-fashion look for less, that's suitable for ladies and gents over 25.
good quality t-shirts in a rainbow of colours, excellent lounge wear, too!!!
A lot of their stuff is not my style, but great place nonetheless to pick up cheap tops, t-shirts, and basics like tights.
Best for cheap basics. I like their underwear too ... fits me much better than anything I've ever gotten at La Senza, and new styles are constantly coming in. Every girl loves having a pretty bra!
Some people think Winners is too much like a thrift store, full of items of odd sizes; an hour or two of rummaging is required, but honestly, that's half the fun. It's worth it when you come up with a pair of jeans for less than half of retail, or a unique blouse that looks like it came from Queen W, but at a fraction of boutique prices.
I like the College location the best, but avoid between 12-2PM ... the lunch crowd is crushing!

we finally have one in Toronto! Since conversion prices still haven't caught up with our strong dollar, you're still getting a better deal if you go to one in the states. But, this is convenient and still cheaper than the competition. Their vintage-inspired and knock-off dresses are the best quality you can get for that price.

they have super trendy pieces at unbelievabley cheap prices and now....drum roll please!....they are opening at Dundas & Yonge! Expected to open this June 2007, that means no more day trips to Buffalo!

their new "Runway @ Winners" has great lines like Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent, Pink Tartan, D&G, Teenflo & Mackage, all at decent prices.
they got thousands of styles @ very reasonable + affordable prices!!!

Every year in May and September. we have the clothing show..featuring the cheapest fashion I ever seen. From branding clothes to local artist fashion.. you name it!

it's a mecca of good finds, if you have the patience and the inclination to look hard, and try things on. I don't always have those qualities, but on the right day, with a good friend, it's a lot of fun to hit up the value village and see how much goodness there is to be found for very little in the dinero department. if you can sew - so much the better. limitless potential to remake.
it is a bit hit and miss... but where else can you find designer jeans for $20 ? The one on Bloor is really good for fashion items!
