Le Gourmand

Le Gourmand never seizes to amaze me. While this is my go-to place for gourmet sandwiches/salads, I happened to try their pasta special: gnocchi pasta with carmelized onions and other succulent veggies, all perfectly afloat in a hearty meat sauce. It's a meal for two for less than $10. Le Gourmand is just one of those places where everything on the menu is great (and reasonably priced).

I look food that does not taste like crap. I also like variety. Meatloaf one day. Cobb salad the next. Deliciously pulpy tomato soup. Tomato, avocado and cheddar sandwich. I like!

it is edible comfort. Baked fresh daily, these delicious cookies are remarkably soft and chewy. Though I pair mine with coffee, there is no need to dunk! At about three times the size of your typical homemade version, these carbolicious circles should be avoided if you are counting calories. Once you have a bite of this good cookie, you won't be able to put it down!

They make it on wholewheat grain bread with delicious onions and a mustard ... really exceptional!

They have nice tables that are round which makes the conversation more personal. Great coffee and near where most of my meetings seem to happen.

You feel like you are in Paris surrounded by delicious food, a great crowd and often classical music

Fantastic!!! A friend kept telling me the cookies here where the best he had ever had, so I stopped in on the way to work today and wow! They should be called chocolate chip cakes!, they are enourmous, and perfectly cooked (moist on the inside and cripy on the outside) I am so happy to have found the greatest cookie ever.

They have really delicious food. Everything is great- hot chocolate with different percentages of chocolate, the cookies, the entrees. While I was waiting for them to give me my curry, I didn't realize they were going to serve it to me on a large platter like a restaurant. A bit expensive. They even have macarons.
