For $5 you can get an 8 piece roll (I like getting the Honour Roll) plus miso soup, green tea and your choice of red bean or green tea ice cream. Now that's what I call a cheap and scrumptious dinner!

I was a regular here like 2 years ago when I was at u of t for a while. They have great sushi and good prices. Well... especially for downtown,,.

To be fair, I'd be biased toward any place that hands me miso soup the second after I'm seated. Still, the hype of sushi on bloor is definitely well-deserved. The service is fast, generally accurate, and you can order all that your heart desires while keeping the bill ridiculously cheap. The line-up can be frustrating given the lack of space to stand in, but all will be forgotten when you sink your teeth into a delish Casa Loma roll.

It is the best sushi that I have ever had. The food and the atmosphere make it a great place.

I've been going since they opened. Great food (you can tell by the nightly lineups) and wicked prices.

Hard to pick, and I haven't been everywhere yet, but for $7 the variety of stuff you get is great. And yes, guys, there's plenty of lysine in this box because it comes with fried mushrooms - missing from most boxes.
