All over Liberty Village, the local economic development corp has a great public art project which turned a handful of poorly maintained benches into creative art installations. Each one is unique and created by a different artist.

I hope my bf doesn't panic if he reads this, but c'mon, I have to admit that I like admiring wedding dresses. Danforth has a lot of small, lovely boutiques with eye-catching display windows.

It wonderful to go walking around in this neighbourhood, especially in the summer all the cafes have their patios full. Beautiful shops and good food!

I wanted to show off the fancy rooftop patio to my friend and we ended up walking all around the building on EACH FLOOR marvelling at the artwork on the walls and the variety of businesses that are based there. Sure, we looked pretty sketchy (like we're casing the joint), but who cares? You get to see photographic essays and paper -mâché wolf masks and discover offices that house cool film festivals (like ImagineNATIVE and Reel Asian) and magazines (like THIS and C Magazine).
