King's Noodle Restaurant

Their Wonton Noodle soup is hands down, the BEST in Toronto. Each time I go there, I leave satisified with a smile on my face :)

Their Won Ton Soup is perfect, and the food is served fresh and quick.

we're not talking dirty north americanized breaded chicken balls and sweet and sour everything, but that stuff that you would get dished out on a daily basis by a chinese grandmother who would scold you for not finishing all your grains of rice because it would mean your husband would have that many pocks in his face. always have to ask for the rice noodles made fresh at the front for soups and get the long fried dough sticks for congee. maybe it's not that homey but it's good enough for me.

Staple food for chinatown residents.

I went here for the first time last night, and WOW. #25 is an instant favourite: duck soup with massive, shrimp-stuffed wontons, bok choi and oodles of noodles. More please!

I like their congee!

Sweet pork slices, tender duck leg, crisp greens, the most succulent and generously stuffed pork and shrimp wontons and masses of thin egg noodles, together in one bowl, makes me very happy.
