It makes you feel like you are on a tropical vacation/eating in a local's house...yummy fish and yucca. The drinks have things like guava and passion fruit in them (MMMM).

I can't explain why or how but it was the best guacamole I've ever had. The richness, saltiness, freshness of the non-liquidy mix was gobbled up so quickly by our table. It's amazing and sometimes all I want to eat from Julie's.

With a relatively inexpensive menu but only half of the Cuban items are worthy of a memory, the setting is surely what will convince you that this is a perfect date restaurant. Just off of the trendy and bustling West Queen West area, Julie's is tucked into a quiet neighbourhood and sparkles out at passersby with strands of lights on the patio. I love the sangria and salads. Especially the avocado mango salad. Plus, awesome guac.

I can't get enough of their Yuca con Mojo.
