Great old style movie house, it's mostly second run stuff, but it's not some giant corporation. Great snack bar too

It shows good quality moves, movies that have been in film festivals, classics and also recent box office hits. It's a cozy single screen theatre. The price is great and popcorn doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.

It's a great little theatre in the heart of the best part of the city. The prices are great and there are lots of places to go for coffee/drinks nearby, from Irish pubs to Second Cup and Timmies.

This historical rep cinema is home to Rue Morgue Cinemacabre Movie Nights every third thursday of the month. Rue Morgue presents advance and special screenings of new, rare and classic horror films once a month. It's always a great opportunity to see old classics, advanced screenings of anticipated releases and to catch them on the big screen.

You can always find off the beaten track movies there.

it's small and cozy and retro in a way that just makes movies better. I don't really like negotiating the maze of overpriced snackfood purveyors and umpteen viewing rooms at the big multiplexes. I like the carpety kitsch, balcony option, and intimate feeling of a small cinema like my neighbourhood Bloor.

A theatre that plays movies without commercials. Who could ask for anything more?
