I'm a sucker for Shakespeare in the Park

It's a perfect getaway from the city... in the city. I love the cherry blossoms in the spring, playing frisbee and lying in the sun on the hill near Grenadier Pond.

It has all the wonderful things that the outdoors has to offer - right in the heart of inner City Tdot.

This is the place where my boyfriend kissed me for the very first time so it is very spcial to me. I love being outsude and in nature so I think this is a great spot to get frisk or be romantic.

Big enough that you'll be able to find a piece of grass, even on the busiest of weekends. Right by the subway, too.

I grew up in the neighbourhood. I loved skating in the winter and swimming in the summer. There's also a mini zoo , playground, trolley rides, pond, walking trails and breathtaking view of the sunset . Free parking too! It's also close to Bloor village , Roncevalles ( the village east of high park) and Lakeshore's bike path.

Hello to all dog lovers! Some of you may already be aware that we are at risk of losing the majority of the off leash area in High Park. If you disagree with this, on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 be at the High Park Tennis club at 6:30 PM to protest this action! Let's all support our rights to a safe dog play area in the City of Toronto.
