This place is slick and definitely worth visiting. I find the atmosphere funky and the food is top notch. If you like a tapa's type menu, you will be pleased. Nice job on the website too.....cheers. ;o)
For the past 18 years the Hope foundation hosts a coed volleyball tournament every June at Toronto's Centre Island. All proceeds go to local charties. I have played a few times in this tournament and I have never seen so many VB players.Typically 400 teams a year enter the tournament. It is well organzied and fully equiped with a beer tent, BBQ's, DJ.....need I say more?
This tiny spot has been on Queen Street for eons and has earned all it's stripes. Great place for a cozy meal and the food is delicious. The menu is quite diverse and would please any patron.
This place boasts one of the biggest backyard patio's in Toronto and oddly enough it is located in Parkdale. Lots of interesting characters and fabulous no-name bands. A true rock and roll type of place. :o)
I love beef nachos and there is no better place than the Foggy Dew to get them AND they come with delicious guacamole too! The Foggy Dew is also a great spot to watch any sporting event, the pub tends to attract a real lively bunch.
I recently particpated in a tournament at East York Collegiate hosted by TRSL and it was a blast and very well organized. I was MOST impressed by the skill level........good times. ;o)
I adore this place and it is by far my favorite restaurant in the city. The Sultans Tent is a unique dining experience. The food, decor and belly dancers will lure you to return again and again. Great place for a group function.
What a fabulous Japanese garden restaurant, and the decor is VERY Feng Shui. I feel so relaxed in this place, that often I will go solo and soak up the garden and yummy sushi.

Best seamstress in the city is Kim. She is a lovely woman who is so talented at her trade. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my wardrobe. :o)
Golf Town is the best golf retail store I have come across to buy anything and everything to do with this great sport. :o) Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to give an honest opinion.
This place is a gem and slightly off the beaten path. I love the concept of an old heritage house transformed into a pub. The staff are fantastic and the crowd is friendly. The kinda place where everyone knows your name. :o)
I have played in this league for over 5 years and it is the BEST coed sports league in the city. I have made so many new friends and highly recommend anyone who is athletic and interested in meeting new people. Various skill levels are available depending on your athletic ability and desired sport.
