New place is pretty good but liked the intimacy and funkiness of the old place on Victoria better. They are supposedly reopening it next year. Looking forward to it.

my goodness. you look away for a second, and bam! fave-o-rama. Nice faves sista. I've saved a few of your picks. Those dumplings from the basement sound interesting, and northern Vietnamese strikes my fancy too. The food in Hanoi was awesome, and I haven't had any like it since. Keep 'em comin!

I was always given the impression that Hanoi 3 Seasons was a Northern Vietnamese restaurant. Give Pho Phuong a try, definitely the best Vietnamese experience I've had in the city and their menu includes lots of the lesser known dishes.
