Sorry I was out of the loop for awhile. Now that I'm back in town, I'm ready to fave it up! I hope you'll make it to the west before I make my way to the east! :-p

yeah, the patio is good, and you're right, it takes you away. Perhaps they faltered trying to bring that vibe indoors. The inside is this (now) this cheesy pseudo-middle eastern vibe and the last time i was there they were playing some heinous drum-and-bass/'world music' stuff. I felt like i was at a bad falafel restaurant.

You speak the truth!

Thank you for having frequented everywhere in Toronto! I'm definitely visiting some of the places you have reviewed. MF

No, I was actually wrong about that. i guess the owners would not be happy with me going on the web and saying they're out of business. That said, the place kind of sucks and it probably would be good if it went out of business. Not sure why Ashleigh faved the place

Thanks Robin! The site is a total blast and great for finding Toronto's next best thing.

I know about the rats & I don't care. I'm not sure if I naive about food or jaded about Toronto food, all I'm sure is I want to go and show my support soon. Thanks for that though, now I feel like a rebel too.

You're training for the Boston Marathon?! Wow. I'm so jealous and so impressed. Tell me more! Have you run other marathons before? Where do you run in the city? How long have you been running?

Hi Robin! Manic is AWESOME. My only complaints are the lack of wifi and the long lines in the afternoons. OurFaves is looking fantastic - and busy. Congratulations! Candice mentioned a couple of new features you have planned, which sound very cool. Hopefully I'll see you at the next DemoCamp event in a couple of weeks.

If you're a fan of ribs or shrimp (chili rubbed is the best) this is the place to go. I feel at home anywhere where good food and soul music are combined!

Hello Robin, Have you had a chance to try Yakamoz Shawarma yet? When you do, don't forget to have them put fried eggplant, babaganoush, and garlic sauce on it. OMG is this a delicious sandwich! I had one yesterday and I'm still full!
