I've been to the Queen Street West Location between Bathurst and Ossington and it's great. It's not easy to find a good fish and chips place in Toronto and this place is great. It's more of a take out place because there's only 3 or 4 seats. It's pricey for a fish and chips stand, but they give you lots of fish and fries.

I have cravings for this restaurant every once in a while. Food comes out blitzkrieg-quick and just satisfies that itchin' for Chinese perfectly.

Veronique, the owner, is French so she always makes sure to give you an authentic experience. My fave is the Big Ben, cheese and raspberry marmalade crepe.

The food is delcious. Mostly Chinese offerings, some of the "meat replacements" will play tricks with your taste buds. Definitely a hidden gem in Kensington. My sister is the biggest carnivore, and this is her favourite veg restaurant in town!

it brings back memories of waking up on Sunday morning, opening my front door, and sitting there would be a bag of steaming hot bagels that my grandfather dropped off before any of us woke up! That, and it's the best bagel in the world. Fluffy, crunchy, salty, and toasty all in the right places. Try the weird little pizzas, too.

Steamed, fried, or boiled, Mother’s Dumplings are made fresh on a four-element stove, in a tiny basement restaurant on Huron Street. The steamed chicken and mushroom variety are perfect for sharing.

it is hands down the best Vietnamese cuisine in the city with the friendliest staff. I once went there three times in the same week because I couldn't stop thinking about it. It's also great for people who have mild nut allergies, as their entrees arent covered with nuts and peanuts and can be ordered without.

It's the best (and only) Northern Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto. Every dish is fantastic, so you can't go wrong with your selection. Owner and chef Hai Luke is a great guy -- fun and friendly.

the food is delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly. My husband and I ate here before we travelled to Vietnam for 3 weeks just to get a feel for what types of food we would be eating and what we would prefer to stay away from. We were very pleasantly surprised. Our server (and I presume the owner) chatted with us for about 20 minutes off and on giving us travel, restaurant and hotel tips all over Vietnam. We left amazed by the food, very full and really excited about our trip!

Only place in the city where you can find any type of cheese. They supply to top restaurants, conduct seminars, age their own and it is family run.

Their food is always fresh, local and they have a variety of other grocery items to add. They also donate their left over food to 2nd Harvest every week. The service is great!

The alternative to the typical diner menu. Favorite pick is the tuna on pan bagnat with sundried tomatoes and dill potato salad (pictured). Perfect if you're tired of poached/boiled/scrambled as your only brunch options. The coffee is also good.

5 of us split a $9 large salad and were stuffed. It's an untraditional (unorthodox?) Greek salad...sure there's lettuce, cukes, olives, and feta. But the spices in the dressing resemble zaatar, a middle-eastern spice blend. It's so bomb, just try it!

wow! um.... unbelievable. This is good soup! The combinations of soup are rich with flavours. As a Mildred Pierce fan, I am not surprised they are so delicious as it is the MP soup master Ravi who started this place. Definitely a great find as the winter approaches.
