A great (independent?) grocery store that carries a wide variety of vegetarian food options, fresh produce, eco friendly cleaners and a killer garden centre. I wouldn't shop anywher else.
Awesome collection of pez dispensers, huge coffee mugs (filled with coffee), friendly atmosphere and a fantastic brunch. It's very vegetarian friendly.

It's small, cozy, has a great burrito and a great patio.
This is my favorite subway station because the lighting, colours and angles are completely unexpected in a subway station. Fantastic.
It has an awesome breakfast and a great atmosphere. Fajitas on the cheap night are great too!

A small cafe, a serving a great $5 all day breakfast with no frills, just good portions of food. It always reminds me of this place - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Soup_Nazi .
Great view overlooking the park, friendly staff, free wifi and a good selection of coffee/teas and a few light snacks.
It has a great atmosphere, and amazing food. Expect lineups on the weekend for brunch (even during the winter), but it's usually worth it.

Amazing veggie and non-veggie rotis. A single roti will satisfy even the biggest eater - they are filling!
Great online reservation system, good selection of cars (including a pickup truck for those big jobs!) and decent car locations downtown. The rates are a little steep compared to AutoShare, but it's a good car sharing option.
The burritos are fantastic, and have veggie friendly options.
Great atmosphere, good selection of beers, amazing patio.
