patience's fave ravine is at Just west of St. Clair and Yonge because Beautiful, well maintained 7k walk in the heart of city and you can barely hear a peep of the traffic. Lots of nice people on the paths, abundance of nesting birds in spring and it's a little bit cool in summer which can be nice.

patience's fave movie theatre is at Revue Cinema because Really comfortable seats, not too loud, approachable film geeks at the counter, and people actually shut up during the movies. It's delightful.

patience's fave crafty classes is at The Workroom because Karyn (proprietor and teacher) is awesome, and their classes actually produce things you might want (unlike the poncho from my knitting class - seriously, how many men wear knit ponchos?). Great fabrics, great advice, and a button maker to boot.

patience's fave place to play frisbee is at Centre Island because They have a whole frisbee golf course running the length of the islands. Great way to keep the walk through the manicured park lively and interesting. Even better with a surreptitious flask.

patience's fave hot chocolate is at SOMA Chocolatemaker because Is this the only place to get that insanely rich hot chocolate in the city? I have to admit to a bit of an addiction. Plus, it's like a little laboratory and they'll answer whatever questions you have about chocolatemaking if they aren't too busy.

patience's fave zoo is at High Park because They have a number of capybaras, the world's largest rodent, as well as groundhogs who live with the mouflon sheep. Oh and the peahens of course. No, I'm not forgetting the llamas. Okay, I just love them all.
