I can alter the length of the run at several crossing points; the lack of cars; the cool breezes coming off of the lake; proximity to High Park in case I want to lengthen the run; a variety of running surfaces (concrete, asphalt, boardwalk, dirt path).
You can buy the most amazing, fragrant, grind-it-yourself traditional, flavoured, and free trade beans. My favourite is the chocolate raspberry :) I went here for the first time last night, and WOW. #25 is an instant favourite: duck soup with massive, shrimp-stuffed wontons, bok choi and oodles of noodles. More please!
Everything is tasty and fresh. While the service is sometimes slow, the waiters are all exceedingly polite. And the naan? The best in the city.
My friend Alana Dalglish is one of the Registered Massage Therapists, and after only a few visits has done wonders on my back. Do yourself a favour and go see her!
The broth isnt too greasy, the meat is flavourful and tender. Plus the new renovation makes it my favourite place to eat lunch on Spadina. Also, you cant beat the price!
The best selection of Fiction and Non-fiction new releases in the city. Has a great feel to it, and oddly, this really bookish smell when you walk in the door. Love it!
They have a fantastic selection of pre-made and to-order sandwhiches, all at a reasonable price. My favourites are the egg salad (with tons of veggies on it) and the turkey/avocado. Yumm!
Plus, when it's nice out you can eat on the building's rooftop-patio -- the lushest in the city!
