they have top notch ingredients and a great selection of Fred's Breads and Ace Bakery breads.
when you walk in there the smell of the place is like no other. And when you finally get to taste your purchases, you immediately vow that you'll be returning for more soon.
the food is superb and the view of downtown is amazing.
even though they're not overly moist, the vanilla bean flavour is outstanding. Not too mention that they're large so they last (slightly) longer.
the filling is really tender and full of flavour. It's a great no fuss lunch - best enjoyed with a Corona on their patio - and perfect for take out too.
the skin is always crispy and the meat falls off the bone every time.
the serve up an amazing peameal bacon sandwich - especially good with cheese and an egg. Just what the doctor ordered. Best enjoyed in the wee hours of the morning when the market is just getting going.
the thin slices are made from fresh bakery bread and they put a lot of butter on it.
you can't beat their roast beef sandwich and Amsterdam Blonde combo during the summer.
they pile on the meat - and the light rye bread is always really soft and fresh.

everything I've had there is top quality and delicious! The service is great too - very friendly.
I love drinks with lime in them.
Lots of garlic, not too much lime and loads of chunky avocados. Great tortilla chips too!
their new $5 lunch menu gets you two choices of items from their regular menu in smaller portions. There are about a dozen items to choose from, and the portions add up to an excellent size for lunch.
the menu has great variety and everything I've tried is delicious. Great backyard patio too!
the menu has great variety and everything I've tried is delicious. Also extremely reasonable prices. Great backyard patio too!
the pork is really tender and the buns are really soft. Best enjoyed with chipotle mayo and fontina cheese. Too bad that the location at Adelaide/Peter recently closed.
their chocolate and banana layer cake is my fave!
everywhere I go it tastes different, but Scaramouche has the best version I've had in a long time.
Carlos has been making amazing fresh pasta and sauces for years. He used to not be able to keep up with the demand for his lasagnas, but has some extra help now so you *might* be able to walk-in and pick one up. Definitely worth ordering ahead - even better than homemade!
the food is good, but the pints are expensive. They've just added a $5 lunch menu - you get two choices (from a limited menu) for $5 plus tax! You can't beat that! Portions are slightly smaller, but the options are right off of their regular menu so you know they're good.
it also contains cashews, avocado, and blackberries. Very tasty and filling!
they're friendly and professional - never too in your face. Similar to European waiters.

I can't stop thinking about their souffle omelet with asparagus and cheese.
