Heya! Just thinking of you! Hope you're well and busy with creative wonderful things. Haven't been in touch since the pre-NYE vigilante emails, so high time for a shout out. Just FYI, if I'm not on the VigJus banned list because of having to bail on that show, I'd still love to add my vocal stylings next time around. Keep me posted if there are opps. Cobra sessions are few and far between these days. Anyway, hope to see you out at something before long. Or we should have a drink or a lunch sometime, since our offices are so darn close. Lemme know.
Hey - I'll get them to change it to Katarina. And I'll see if we can actually change your username on the back end too then. More on that to come. Thanks again! Robin
as soon as possible i suppose. but that would be a nice tie in for the film fest, so let's aim for September 1st? That cool? Gives me a few days to get it up before the 6th.
wanna do some film-related faves for a featured spot? (rentals, theatres, movie snacks, film paraphenalia shops - whatever you can think of that has anything to do with enjoying movies or being a film buff). like 10-15 faves plus pics? lemme know.
okay - duly noted. more to come once candice reports back on the possibility of more than one media pass. i'll keep you posted, but i really hope we're able to take on an additional person. : )
Hiya, Okay, great. No promises yet, but it's looking good. Right now, Toronto.com is trying to get more than one media pass. I guess what is very important is what kind of availability you'd have through and leading up to TIFF to do basically anything that's necessary to cover TIFF. That being said, the coverage won't be required to be exhaustive. But rather selective. And targeted at a Toronto.com audience (mainstream-y). But what's your work schedule like? Anyway, this is all getting worked out, but I sent some of your film stuff from UMTO to Candice, the GM, and while this whole media pass thing gets worked out, need to see about level of dedication possible. : ) Let me know.
wierdly, really really wierdly, i was just asked if i wanted to and/or if I knew anyone else that might want to cover tiff for toronto.com. and i thought of you. and then i got this message. hahah. any interest? passes and media accred and what not. but writing for a broader audience than umto. 900,000 uniques/mo, but a range of readers. let me know. you'd be great.
I have spent all year introducing friends to the Pimm's Cup. I only recently discovered that they served it at the Embassy. How has this drink not caught on here? Every drink should have cucumbers in it.
