it's a chain in japan too. and internationally. it's not the best ramen i've ever had, but it's the best i've had in toronto. japanese style noodles are not as easy to find at vietnamese and chinese and so on i find - at least not downtown. anyway, i'll try your recommendation for ramen if i'm ever in that hood.

Re: Fave Authentic Japanese Ramen, Curry Rice, Ric

have you tried the ramen at ajisen? I lived in japan for 3 years, and it's the real deal. Pretty far north, but worth a trip. Yum. http://www.ajisen.ca/

J-Grill
815 Major MacKenzie Dr. E, #15
Richmond Hill
J Grill in Richmond Hill serves the only rice burgers in town. Their ramen is the most authentic I can find since "WoW" has closed their doors. They also serve Japanese style curry rice, and their udon use bonito as soup base. Owner/Chef started out a sushi chef, sushi is fine too.
