Great location, friendly atmosphere, love the brick walls and wood floors, great selection of classes and you never have to wait to get on any of the equipment.

They don't have a showroom but check out their website -- beautiful arrangements using only organically grown and fair trade flowers....something to keep in mind next time you want to 'say it with flowers'

Great summer location for lunch - can't beat the people-watching along Queen West from the patio and the food is both yummy and healthy...can't beat their Buddha bowl and the sweet potato fries are worth the visit alone.

Small and often crowded but definitely worth the wait if you're looking for a good brunch place in the Dundas strip near Trinity Bellwoods. I love their sandwiches and even though I don't have a sweet tooth, the waffles always look amazing as they go by...

Its like a candy shop for knitters - at Queen West and Tecumseth. Be prepared to be overwhelmed and inspired by the incredible selection of wools. And the staff is super helpful.

In the heart of Kensington Market, this store seems to stock pretty much any type of organic food you are looking for (except for limited fruits & veggies) as well as a good range of cleaning products, health & beauty products, vitamins and other things you generally can find in a grocery store.

Went in without a recommendation and came out with a fabulous cut...Shelley is amazing. Great vibe, fun place, and if you live in the Dundas / Bathurst area, nice to support a local business.

Not really a restaurant but if you're in the mood for take-out, the pizza here is amazing (and they have locations on King West & the Danforth for easy local delivery). Organic and vegan ingredients, spelt or w/wheat crusts, you name it...its delicious.

I don't have a car but frequently have to get to meetings off the TTC routes. Zipcar makes it easy - book online, show up, get in the car and drive off, drop off, lock the car and walk away. Cheaper than renting from traditional rental cars and car sharing means fewer cars on the road (you only use the car when you need it)

You feel like you've gone back in time (in a good way...) - its the one place in Toronto that inspires me to order a Manhattan or a Sidecar. Great for one-on-ones or bigger groups (and the patio out front is always great for people-watching in the summer). The food is also excellent, and you can't beat a place that has a resident ghost...

Their personalized baby blankets are high on the "warm & fuzzy" scale, easy to clean and parents love the personal touch. Also great to support a local business and easy ordering online.
