Stop the presses! Toronto now has its own version of Crif Dog. For anyone that has lived in NYC you will be all to familiar with the siren call of Crif Dog. Worry not Torontonians because now you too can enjoy the pleasures of 10 cm's of deliciousness! I'd be lying if I didn't say I was jealous that Buddha Dog has beaten me to market, but at least I don't need to lie awake dreaming about the next time I am going to NYC for work. From the former owner and chef of Teatro comes Tati Bistro. Like everyone we grow up - we go from wanting to be at the 'it' spot crowded with people drinking and eating to the opposite. Where eating takes precidence over drinking (there is still lots of drinking but it's a nice chewy red vs a vodka redbull).

This is a true find. Beautiful brick and beam interior and friendly staff. But the real reason it is a fave is because of the menu items. They have pasta, pizza, steak and seafood but all with a fantastic twist. My fav was roasted organic spiced chicken on a stew of spicy sausage, golden raisins and creamed grits - delicious! If you are in the area or are looking for a quaint place to grab a bite a la Baldwin Street it is a must attend.

I love contempary art and did not know we had our own version of The MOMA in Toronto right down town. After walking around building up an appetite go to Caju for dinner.
