I seemed to have checked in at an optimal time since most of the lunch clientele had exited or finished their meals. I'm glad you enjoyed the food though!

the wings are bigger than I've found at any other place, they put a great coating on them, then a delicious wing sauce. I travel from Scarborough to eat these things

Great halibut, the fries are hand cut and perfect. They were on Restaurant Makeover a while back, the best thing they did there was put malt vinegar spray bottles at each table. Be sure and order a side of coleslaw

I love how the Rosebud looks! And the food is really something else. I'd like to take my boyfriend, my mother and brother here for a nice meal, so my boyfriend can become better acquainted with my family - after a year of dating, my boyfriend hasn't been able to meet my mother yet.

it's not exactly romantic, but it's kitschy and fun, and i kinda like that better. lots of toy soldiers and 70s movie posters, and big bad coffee smoothies tall enough for sharing. and, when you're finished with your huevos divorciados (the bean and egg specialty) and toast soliders, there's lots of browse potential in the neighbourhood antique and vintage shops and around roncesvalles village.

Freshly roasted beans makes this the best latte I've ever had! Yes, better than Caffe Artigiano and Caffe Art Java. I love sharing my latte with my fiance, whom I drag there all the time against her will.

they offer impeccable service, a stunning product and great quality. They did all of the stationary for my wedding and I was blown away by how beautiful their work was - my guests complimented me on it all night. Even better, was that they were less expensive than anyone else I checked out - by FAR! Check them out at www.papergems.ca

It's Toronto's best kept secret for stylish/modern flower arrangements and fresh cut flowers. You will find the very best in fashionable flowers. The store is located in the back of UpCountry near the corner of King and Parliment.

Mengrai Thai
82 Ontario Street
Toronto p: (416) 546-0331
Tucked away from the city noise, the lunch clientele is mainly businessmen enjoying lunch. Chef Sasi scores top marks for the most interesting thai food i've ever had. A must try are her golden pumpkin soup (which contains green curry) which is soothing in the winter and the red curry with lychee (which is an unusual mix but is a killer combo).

Fave Picture How can you not love Cajun? Fire on the East Side has great ambiance and soulful food, and the crowds that swarm there for weekend brunch and after-work martinis all agree with me. Last time I went with a mixed crowd of librarians and opera singers, and everyone enjoyed their brunch. We all blushed as our server flattered and flirted her way to a generous tip. The omelettes are particularly yummy. Feel free to have a mimosa with that. Go on, drink: it's Sunday! http://www.fireontheeastside.ca/
