Not only did Chakra have a peaceful atmostphere when I walked in, but the entire staff was wonderful. I received my first ever massage that day and left there feeling relaxed and rejuvinated. I didn't find out until after that they were named one of Toronto's Top 5, but I would definitely have to agree.

I've had many a French Onion Soup in my day, but this place topped it. Also, when a friend received his order, "This is the best burger I've ever had" was uttered between bites.

Who doesn't love a pub? I mean really. This place has every beer you could think up plus the bands that play guarantee some foot stompin' good times.

Chocolate Croissantes. Need I say more? Everything is great about it - it's stayed small even though it's popular and the food is all delicious. Good Lattes, good omlettes and of course those croissantes I mentioned.

It's a huge venue with tall ceilings and room to dance. There is also a ton of seating which is never a bad thing.
