Faves (7)
Brazil Bakery And Pastry Ltd
1566 Dundas Street West, Toronto
They have a fancy one which is "sugared" and has coconut flavour which takes the finest pasteis de natas to the next level. Awesome pastry counter at Brazil. The monster croissant filled with eggy custard dipped in chocolate...try that one!

Marcello's Pizzeria
1163 St Clair W, Toronto
There are a a few good pasta joints in TO, but surpisinglty not more than a dozen that i could find. Terroni on Queen IS pretty good, a couple on College but Marcello's on St Clair is excellent and great value. The linguine gamberi is very good.

Akram's Shoppe
191 Baldwin St, Toronto
I've been eating here for years. The owner obviously knows about FLAVOUR, and little about decor. Most of everything like the nuts, jams, spices, etc are gorgeous flavour. Of all the grilled sandwiches I have tried here the "grilled veggie" is amazing, and I don't usually like veggie sandwiches.

Greg's Ice Cream
750 Bloor St. West, Toronto
Beautiful very high quality icecream. Sure the roasted marshmellow is phenomenal, but many other flavours are killer. I like picking up the malted vanilla with hot fudge at My Favourite Ice Cream at Yonge at Macpherson...because they have the hot fudge.

The morning glory muffin at Grumbles on 290 Main Street, Toronto is the best muffin I have ever eaten. It is dense, not too sweet but rich, dark and full of fruit, but unlike a fruitcake. Awesome with butter. I am all over TOs fine patisseries and bakeries, but this muffin is fantastic.Check it when your out on the Danforth east.
