it's got juicy steak, brie and the freshest garlic bread this side of the Don River.
This hidden jem is worth the search. Nestled in the design centre across from the Sun building. This Italian social resto produces pizza that give Terroni a run for it's money. Of note, the Burina (mozzarella, sausage, pancetta, garlic and oregano) or the buffalina with some of the freshest buffalo mozzarella you can find.
A real 50's vibe (it's the exact same as when it opened). The owner Terry is a real character and makes for an entertaining meal. Of note: the big banquet burger helps combat the remnants of last night's fun. Sit at the counter for a front-row seat.
Cool atmosphere, stylish and out of the way. Incredible service and fantastic wine list.

there isn't a thing they don't know about cheese. You name it, they either have it or can get it. Amazing source for rare varieties.
The second you walk in you're inundated with the smell of freshly baked breads and sweets. So many different many varieties to choose from. Of note: Brick Street Club and the Lamb Kafta.
Sundried tomato butter is incredible. The frites and aioli complete the experience. Great patio to watch the buzz of Kensington market too.
it's been there for ever and so have the vendor's. Great deals at closing time and some of the freshest meat in the city.
Organic cows are happy cows. They have a great selection of unusual flavours that are welcomed anytime of year.

The staff are fabulous (one happens to resemble J.Lo) and they don't make you feel guilty for exposing yourself to high levels of radiation.
best steak frites in the city - and they aren't even on the menu... ask special. Also of note: the mussels and crepes for dessert.
get the Siam Noodle, Thai Basil Noodle or the Golden Curry Chicken. Service is expedient but impersonal.
