There are a couple. There is also one out at the UBC botanical gardens that is part of an outdoor sculpture/installation 'minotaur vs. hare'. This one is my favorite outdoor one. you walk out of it and you are looking up at this big minotaur sculpture in a way that is quite impressive.

Faves (51)
Paros Taverna
526 Clarke Rd , Coquitlam
Fave Picture We loved this place 6 years ago when we lived just 2 blocks away. We live downtown these days, but still make the trek out to Burquitlam for Greek fare that surpasses the Stephos-es of the Lower Mainland. Bonus points: complimentary baklava / ouzo; belly dancers on the weekend; no 20min lineups out the door.

M.A.C. Cosmetics at The Bay
674 Granville Street, Vancouver
Fave Picture I rarely doll my face up, but when I do, you can be assured that at least one M.A.C. product will be relied upon to get me looking glamorous. I am a huge fan of their line of glosses and lipsticks, and a recent purchase of their lava-rock exfoliator has gotten my husband exclaiming at how soft my skin is now. Another plus for M.A.C.s inside a Bay store is that you can reap Airmiles and HBC points on all your purchases.

Vanier Park
1000 Chestnut Street, Vancouver
What better way to enjoy the Bard than on a summer evening at Vanier Park with the waters of False Creek shimmering through the folds of the Main Stage? The perfect summer date with a dash of culture.

Hon's Wun-Tun House
1339 Robson Street, Vancouver
Fave Picture Service is quick, potstickers come with a zingy dipping sauce, and I cannot stop myself from ordering the exact same dish every time we visit. The bill? $15 for 2; sometimes it's under $10. More on Tiny Bites: http://tinyurl.com/5dzzpv

Mr. Pickwick's Fish & Chips
8620 Granville Street, Vancouver
Fave Picture Presentation is simple but gorgeous; taste is lighter than air. Not bad for a little food kiosk where everything is dunked in oil. More on Tiny Bites: http://tinyurl.com/6fk7kz

Cranberries Spa
330 Robson Street, Vancouver
Cranberries has consistently arched my brow, painted my nails, and made my skin glow--in the exact way I like it--for over 3 years. They've gotten me addicted to Dermalogica skin products and OPI nail polish in the process!

PHAT Deli
1055 Mainland Street, Vancouver
Fave Picture There’s a multitude of freshly baked bagels and half a dozen flavours of cream cheese—blended, I suspect, in-house—so I have yet to exhaust the combos possible. But I’m making a valiant effort. More on Tiny Bites: http://tinyurl.com/3wesej

Northern Delicacy
4151 Hazelbridge Way, Richmond
Fave Picture Best spicy wontons I've ever had. The Shanghainese focus on pork and freshly spun noodles is a refreshing change from Vancouver's typical dim sum scene. More photos: http://tinyurl.com/4beq

Sears on Robson
701 Granville Street, Vancouver
Fave Picture Even when we're just passing through to the mall, the aisles of interesting gift wrap patterns always make my husband and I stop and admire.

Ebisu On Robson
827 Bute Street, 2nd floor, Vancouver
Fave Picture When I saw "crème brulée cheesecake" on Ebisu's dessert menu, I couldn't believe my eyes. I ordered it out of curiosity and my, did it deliver! They even torched the top of the portion individually so that the caramelized crust was perfectly molded to the shape of the slice. More photos: http://tinyurl.com/6oo9ey
